Houston Color Guard Experience Camp

This camp is free to all attendees.

While pre-camp registration is appreciated, walk-in attendees are accepted.

Food is not provided, camp attendees can either bring a lunch or leave campus during lunch break to get food.

All ages welcome. Audition evaluations will be provided to attendees that wish to be evaluated.

What to bring:

• Athletic or dance clothing
• Athletic or dance shoes
• A Flag + Rifle
• If you do not have access to or can not afford this equipment, please contact the Guard Caption Manager, Marie DeBellis at guard@guardiansdbc.org as soon as possible.

This camp is an opportunity for prospective Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps participants, anyone in our color guard community that wants to check out the program or even those who may just want to spin with a group for the day.  Learn some of the techniques and exercises that our guard staff uses to facilitate the education and eventual performance level of Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps color guard members.  If you are interested in participating with the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps 2022 season, you will also be able to request an audition evaluation at this camp (this would include feedback on your performance as well as a rating of either "1 - Contract Offered", "2 - Needs improvement in specific areas before a position can be offered", or "3 - Needs to show significant improvement in certain areas before being offered a position").
