F.A.Q.

Will housing and food be supplied?

Yes! Part of the payment goes to facilities and food! We ask any food accommodation be emailed to brian@guardiansdbc.org. We will send a packing list closer to camp. Sheets/blankets/pillows are not provided, and are recommended. 

Can I audition if this is my first camp?

The April camp will be call back only for percussion. All new percussion auditionees must submit a video audition at least 7 days prior to April camp. Guard and brass auditionees are welcome.  We welcome any questions you might have about the audition process, and ask that you direct those to Brian Lyke, at brian@guardiansdbc.org. 

If I have any accommodations/conflicts/transportation issues etc. who should I contact?

Depending on your needs we will do our best to ensure the best experience at Guardians! Airport pick ups are available. Email brian@guardiansdbc.org to get started.

If I have a conflict, can I arrive late, leave early, or leave then return?

Absolutely! Just let us know by emailing brian@guardiansdbc.org. It is very common for people with concerts, indoor shows, solo and ensemble, etc., to come for the parts of camp that they can. We highly recommend this avenue, so that you can audition in-person with our staff.  We will accomodate you to the best of our ability.
